RUBY BRIDGES
Ruby Bridges, who is now 44 years old, has devoted herself to the education of the young. She raised her own four sons, herbrother's four daughters, and started the Ruby Bridges Foundation "in the hopes of bringing parents back into the schools and taking a more active role in their childrens' education."
