As an intern you will work directly with the Editorial team of Toonari News and Media to do what you do best– write! .This individual will possess a high level of creativity, exceptional writing skills and the ability to work independently as well as receive constructive criticism and direction. The intern will research and conceptualize topics of interested as needed, while gaining valuable knowledge about website usability .and how to develop content to meet the demands of end-users.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Writing articles for the Toonari News & Media network of sites
- Ensure articles fit a particular word count by cutting or expanding material
- Going on assignment to cover relevant entertainment events in your area
- Interview perspective story subjects in person or by telephone
- Produce new content and writing it in an interesting and appealing manner
- Write and edit own articles to detect errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax, and modifying copy as necessary to conform to publication’s style
- Will actively participate in team meetings to generate ideas for new article topics
Key Skills (E=Essential, P=Preferred)
E-Student should demonstrated proficiency in rhetorical writing (writing samples must be included)
E-Ability to work independently from home and to be resourceful
E-Student should have a solid grasp of spelling and grammar; knowledge of AP Style is preferred.

E- College or graduate student
